Hi,

I'm guessing this was because the catalog that processes tasks (like checkin / checkout / derive / etc.) was way overloaded this morning. It's been mostly cleared now, but let us know if you're still seeing the problem.

Thanks!

Alexis

Thanks for the information Alexis.

It finally went through (tth8_061110).
The M3us took a while to be created though.

Question: I deleted the processes tth_xxx -> tth7_xxx .

Is it possible to reuse the identifiers later, or are they permanently out-of-service once they're created?

It's happening again.

Now, how do I find the server that's waiting for my 'deposit'?

The search function isn't finding it. I come up with this on the history page:

identifier task_id server cmd submittime submitter args
tth_061113 History Mgr 10682331 create.php UTC 2006-11-13 06:36:00 (15.8 minutes) leighcmeyers@yahoo.com o r i g c m d = > c r e a t e
origcmd=create&..

No historical tasks.

I've noted before that if '&recache' is added to the details page address, it *has* pulled up the page I needed, but it's not doing it now. FWIW, I just need the server address, and how to find it when this happens.

Am I just premature? should I try the 'recache' later?

Ok, now the link:
http://www.archive.org/create.php?identifier=tth_061113&reCache=1

...has reloaded the page, and all is well in my IA universe.

I am assuming that the servers were swamped and I'm just impatient... 3+ hours... How many years is that in 'internet time'?
